Viscosa Kultuuritehas on maailma parim näide sellest, et kui on pöörane idee ja sellega kaasnevad pöörane tahe ja kirg selle täideviimiseks, siis on võimalik liigutada kõiki maailma mägesid ja luua eimillestki kõike. Ehitada keset Hiiumaa väikeküla üles tipptasemel keskus, kuhu koonduvad kunst, muusika, suveteater, gurmeetoit ja mis peamine – koht, mis võtab vastu sarnaseid pööraseid ideid ja teostab need, olles julgustuseks ja inspiratsiooniks mu meelest kõigile, nii loomevaldkonnast kui ettevõtlusest ja näide sellest, et et need kaks saavad teineteist toetada ja teineteise toel luua suuri ja ilusaid asju.
Unistasin juba mõnda aega inspireerivast suvelavastuse protsessist mõnes eriti mõnusas Eesti paigas. Küsi ja sulle antakse. Mulle anti Hiiumaa ja Viscosa näol ning tõele au andes, on raske üldse ette kujutada paremat kohta loominguliseks tegevuseks. Hiiumaa “miski” hakkab juba praami astudes vaikselt üle võtma, Kõrgessaarde jõudes on saare õhk juba sügavale kopsudesse jõudnud ning tagasiteed enam pole – su süda on võetud.
See, et ühes Eestimaa nurgas on selline kultuurioaas on üks reaalne utoopia, mille taga on väga pühendunud ning kirglikud inimesed, kes ajavad ühte väga võluvat asja – seda saab tunda igaüks, kes annab endale võimaluse Hiiumaal Viscosa tegemisi kogeda.
