Viscosa Cultural Factory is a year-round organisation working at the intersection of culture, the creative industries and entrepreneurship — a place where something happens that doesn’t happen anywhere else. Within Viscosa’s creative and cultural environment, opportunities are created for theatre, music, visual arts, education and many other cultural events to come to life.
The Cultural Factory enables talents of many kinds to develop and realise themselves on Hiiumaa throughout the year — including musicians, actors, artists, writers, opinion leaders and entrepreneurs.
On 20 June 2026, we will open Viscosa’s renovated complex — the conference hall, creative studios, and a new hotel— all designed to offer partners and guests an immersive intertainment, a touch of something deeper, far from city noise.

Our partners
2021. In 2026, the idea was born to transform the former Viscosa factory complex on Hiiumaa into a versatile Cultural Factory. More than 12,000 m² of historic space is being developed step by step for creative work, gatherings, and a wide range of events. And we haven’t done it alone.
