Tucked inside a historic manor-era brennerei, Utoopia nr 9 offers a one-of-a-kind guesthouse experience on the island of Hiiumaa. Set on the scenic Kirikulaht Bay coastline, our guesthouse combines a unique sense of place with the comfort of a good night’s sleep and breakfast at our cafe.
Just a hundred steps away, the Viscosa Culture Factory brings colour and energy to your stay with its vibrant atmosphere and ever-changing events. Kõrgessaare is a quiet village – yet full of inspiration and surprises – just like Utoopia nr 9 itself.
Utoopia nr 9 guesthouse
- The guesthouse has a total of 19 rooms, accommodating 42 guests (+ extra beds & glamping options in the summer for up to 80 guests)
- Enjoy breakfast in the same building at our café.
- From September to May, Utoopia No 9 will operate as a café-bar and will be open

Glamping
- For the summer season, 10 stylish comfort tents will once again be set up next to the guesthouse, immersing guests in Hiiumaa’s natural beauty.
- Each tent includes 4 beds (40 beds in total), electricity, towels, and bed linens
- Dedicated bathroom & shower facilities in a specially designed container building
- Glamping prices per night:
- Tent for 4 persons – €95
- Breakfast €15 per person
- Full glamping site rental – price upon request

Project objective:
By the beginning of the 2025 summer season, Guesthouse Utoopia No. 9 implemented BOUK, a management and booking engine for accommodation and additional services, and conducted training for system users.
As a result of the project, various booking channels were integrated, and a dedicated booking engine for the guesthouse was created — enabling convenient sales and management of both accommodation and supplementary services.
